Trip to San Antonio!

Jimmy and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary in San Antonio this weekend. It was so much fun! We had a blast with June bug at Sea World!

June was ready for the excitement when we stopped to lather her up with sunscreen for the big day! She picked flowers while mommy got ready

She loved the aquariums!

The highlight of the trip for me was feeding the dolphins!!

They came right up to us and let us pet them. They were soooooooo cute! June was amazed.

June enjoyed an endless trough of gerber cheese puffs through out the ENTIRE day!!

We ate lunch at Mango Joe's and June enjoyed some watermelon. She was climbing out of her stroller about to take a plunge towards the ground to get some more after she tasted the sweet delisciousness!

Jimmy carried June through the aquarium and her little finger was pointing at everything! She was totally full of joy the whole day!

Jelly fish are so cool!

Then we went to the Shamu show which was awesome! I still can't beleive they can teach wales to do all those things!

I think everyone in the entire stadium is thinking "LUUUUUCKYYYY" I wanna ride a whale!!

So cute. Looks like he's smiling

Look at the Flamingos!

After Sea World we went to the Market and enjoyed some shopping. June got a tamborine and shared a snowcone with me. I love the picture below of her pointing at Jimmy while he was taking the picture

We saw the cutest little kids doing their little dance in the Mercado!

This little boy was my favorite and he was REALLY serious about his dance!

We had such a wonderful time. I have to put pictures of our hotel room too. It had a surprise jacuzi in the middle of the room! It was a swimming pool for June. We also enjoyed some delicious Pappasitos and Pappadaux for dinner. I was really tired and ready to come home by Monday though since June kept us up screaming both nights! Can't wait for the beach!

Mother's Day and swimming

Last week we went to Charlotte's for Mother's Day. We had a great time and the babies swam in the backyard and then got in their jammies. It was my first Mother's Day with June bug and Jimmy and I had a great day! I am so blessed to be a mother and I absolutlely love it! We ate grilled shrimp wrapped in bacon, brocoli cheese casserole and fresh fruit! It was sooooo good!

June and Sophie played on the couch for awhile and fought over this singing mother's day card. They are both learning to share.
Then they peeked out the window to watch the dogs. Look how high Sophie's butt is compared to June! June totally has Jimmy's long torso body type.

Yesterday I filled up the bucket for June to swim. I have a pool but I was too lazy to set it up so she just swam in the bucket. She loved it though!! We were out there for at least an hour and a half!

She pulls up on everything now...scaaarrryyy!!!

Look at her two little toofers coming in!

My sweet girl! We are going to Sea World this weekend for Jimmy and I's three year anniversary! I will post pictures next week!

June Louise 9 1/2 months

Yesterday I was taking pictures and June got this mischeivious look on her face. When I put the camera down she had bitten one of the rhinestones off her little tiarra and was making this face like...don't even try to take this from me. Nonetheless, she locked her jaws and put up a pretty big fuss about giving it back and I got my first painful tooth BITE!! If you click on the picture, you can see her second tooth coming in!

I cannot get enough of this face! I have never kissed somthing so much in my life as I have those cheeks!!!

June really loves reading books. Especially ones with flaps, popups and things to touch.

We read the same books every day over and over and over and she is totally engaged and cries if I stop reading. I love this picture because this is what she does....she points at everything in the book.

Recap of the Past Two Weeks

So much has happened in the last two weeks. June learned to crawl and is getting her first tooth. She had her first really bad cold with fever, cough, runny nose, sleepless nights and major crankiness. She is all better now, and she tested negative for "swine flu" not to worry!!

Tuesday night our street flooded! It was quite a disaster for lots of people on our street. That little white dot at the end of the street is a mailbox that was completely underwater. It was nice to have a day off school even though I was sick.

Last Sunday we went to Grammy and Pa's for a little swimming. They filled up the pool with warm water. June didn't like it at first but she got used to it and had a good time! Sophie had the best time though, she was in the pool long after everyone had already gotten out! Pa gave all the babies Dreamscicles which you can see June inhaled the entire thing very quickly!

Friday night, Jimmy and I watched "Slumdog Millionaire" We hadn't watched a movie together in FOREVER. So it just happened that June decided to get really cranky at the climax of the movie, so what do you do to get a baby quiet?...Anything she wants...for June it was pulling every wipe out of the wipey bag until it was empty and then flinging them all over the couch. You do what you gotta do!!
